Danny embarked on his investigative journey in 1994 with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, New Jersey. Widely recognized for his expertise, he was consistently called upon to handle complex investigations, leading efforts against murderers, high-profile gang members, organized crime figures, fugitives, and drug traffickers. His unwavering commitment to justice was further underscored by his invaluable contributions in assisting county prosecutors with the intricate preparation of felony cases.

A recipient of prestigious awards, including the National Association of Police Organizations' "TOP COP" award and the National Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives President's award, Danny's stellar reputation in the field is exemplified by his pivotal role in the Charles Cullen investigation. Transitioning to the Duke University Police Department in 2018, Danny assumed the role of an investigator often sought after for handling intricate investigations. He conducted criminal investigations and behavioral threat assessments for Duke University and Duke hospital, showcasing his continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in law enforcement.

In 2021, Danny took a deliberate step into a new chapter, officially retiring from law enforcement to channel his formidable investigative talents into the dynamic landscape of the private sector.
