Meet Daniel Baldwin, our esteemed Chief Investigator—a seasoned luminary in the fields of law enforcement and criminal justice with an impressive career spanning 25 years. Boasting credentials as a retired law enforcement professional, former adjunct criminal justice professor, and Investigative Consultant for the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children, Danny brings a wealth of experience to the forefront of our investigative endeavors.

Danny embarked on his investigative journey in 1994 with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, New Jersey. Widely recognized for his expertise, he was consistently called upon to handle complex investigations, leading efforts against murderers, high-profile gang members, organized crime figures, fugitives, and drug traffickers. His unwavering commitment to justice was further underscored by his invaluable contributions in assisting county prosecutors with the intricate preparation of felony cases.

A recipient of prestigious awards, including the National Association of Police Organizations' "TOP COP" award and the National Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives President's award, Danny's stellar reputation in the field is exemplified by his pivotal role in the Charles Cullen investigation. Charles Cullen, a former critical care nurse, is recognized as one of America's most prolific serial killers. This investigation, documented in a New York Times Best Seller book and portrayed in the Netflix movie "The Good Nurse," solidifies his status as a seasoned investigator with an unwavering dedication to uncovering the truth.

In 2016, Danny co-founded Triton Security & Investigations, where he served as CEO for approximately two years. Under his astute leadership, Triton excelled in providing top-tier physical security for major concerts, events, and large-scale construction projects ranging from $100 million to $1.3 billion.

Transitioning to the Duke University Police Department in 2018, Danny assumed the role of an investigator often sought after for handling intricate investigations. He conducted criminal investigations and behavioral threat assessments for Duke University and Duke hospital, showcasing his continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in law enforcement.

In 2021, Danny took a deliberate step into a new chapter, officially retiring from law enforcement to channel his formidable investigative talents into the dynamic landscape of the private sector. His legacy of accomplishment and fervor for justice, combined with his passion to help people, solidify his standing as a revered figure in the realm of investigations.
